Gurcharan Das is a celebrated author, thinker and former CEO of Procter & Gamble India and Managing Director, Procter & Gamble Worldwide (Strategic Planning). After four decades of working at the helm of the business world, he retired early to become a full-time writer. Some of his bestselling books include India Unbound, The Difficulty of Being Good, and Another Sort of Freedom. His writings have been featured in leading media including The Economist, Financial Times, WSJ and The Guardian. Gurcharan graduated in philosophy with honors from Harvard University, where he was inducted in 2013 into Phi Beta Kappa for ‘high attainments in liberal scholarship.’ He also attended Harvard Business School where he is featured in four case studies.
